Keep a good rotation of toys in your house. This can prevent your toddler from becoming tired of playing with the same thing. Toddlers will cast away toys that they do not like and play favorites with those they enjoy. This will save you the expense of buying new toys regularly and your child will have more fun discovering and rediscovering toys.

When traveling by plane, look for the security line designated for families. It is available in most airports. This way, you will not upset impatient travelers since going through the security line with kids takes a bit longer then normal. Remember that everything will be scanned by the x-ray machine, including shoes, car seats and diaper bags.

Encouraging your child to play team sports will help build their self-esteem. You can attend games to support and encourage your child; doing so creates memories and attributes that last your child’s life.

By removing all junk food from your house, you are encouraging healthy eating. If you don’t keep sugary treats or other junk food in your house, your child won’t ask for them as much. These items should be kept as special occasion treats, such as for Christmas or Halloween.

Children love praise; give it to them when they exhibit good behavior. Children tend to crave attention. If they are unable to get it with good behavior, they will act out with bad behavior. If you are not rewarding good behavior, your children be confused about what they are supposed to do.
